Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Schuyler, with Father Carl Zoucha officiating. Committal will be in the Schuyler cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today, with family present from 6-8 p.m. and a 7 p.m. vigil service for the Knights of Columbus and the parish, all at the Kracl Funeral Chapel. She attended school in Schuyler and worked at her parents grocery store. On May 24, 1943, she married Lambert W. Molacek at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Schuyler. Lucille lived in Schuyler until moving to Des Moines, Iowa, in December 2009, and lived with her daughter, Bonnie, until July 2010. She died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at the Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Lucille was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Guild, and had been very active in the Schuyler Firemen's Auxiliary. She loved playing cards and spending time with her grandson and most recently her great-granddaughter, Payton, who was born in October 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Ron) Platt, of Des Moines, Iowa; son, Robert Molacek, of Schuyler; one grandson, R. J. (Kelli) Platt; and great-granddaughter, Payton Sydney Platt, of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; two sisters, Marie Dailey, of North Platte, and Ruth Stuchl, of David City; brother, Jerry Dubsky, of David City; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lambert, in 2001; infant son, Paul, in 1957; five sisters, Ella Weber, Martha Schmidt, Marguerite Molacek, Dorothy Molacek and Genevieve Mihulka; and three brothers, Art, Neil and Frank Dubsky.
