Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1565 18th Ave. in Columbus. Interment will be in the Columbus Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, with a 7 p.m. vigil, continuing 8-10 a.m. Wednesday, all at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Genevieve Marie Mihulka was born July 23, 1927, in Schuyler, to Joseph and Emma (Knapp) Dubsky. She grew up in Schuyler the youngest of twelve children. She attended Schuyler schools and worked in her parents grocery store. On Aug. 17, 1948, she married Ferdinand Fritz Mihulka at St. Marys Church in Schuyler. They built a home in Columbus where she has lived since. Genevieve was a loving wife and mother. She deeply loved her family and grandchildren. Her passions were cooking and baking. She loved to read, crochet, and in her younger days go dancing most every Saturday. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, Perpetual Adoration, and volunteered at the hospital. She is survived by her husband, Fritz Mihulka, of Columbus; son Keith (Vikki) Mihulka, of Columbus, grandchildren, Kristi, Kim and Jeff; daughter, Vicki (Tom) Bumgarner, of Strang, grandchildren, Jennifer, Chad and Todd; son, Fred Mihulka, of Columbus; daughter, Kathy (Rick) Thomas, of Columbus, grandchildren, Brieanne, Tyson, Amberly and Jared; son, Don (Sue) Mihulka, of Lincoln, grandchildren, Kelli, Chris and Megan; daughter, Pam (Scott) Souders, of Columbus, grandchildren, Justin, Nikki and Eric; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Dubsky, of David City; sister, Lucille Molacek, of Schuyler; sister, Marie Dailey, of North Platte; and sister, Ruth Stuchl, of David City. She is preceded in death by her sister, Ella Weber; sister, Martha Schmidt; brother, Art Dubsky; brother, Neil Dubsky; brother, Frank Dubsky; sister, Marguerite Molacek; and sister, Dorothy Molacek.
