Description	:	In Memory of: Lucille Hanton Lucille Olive Muller was born December 26, 1912, the daughter of Otto and May Berg Muller in Melville Township of Audubon County. She started school in Audubon County before the family moved to Noble Township of Cass County in 1921 where she grew up and finished school. On December 6, 1934, she was married to Clifford Hanton at Burlington, Iowa. They lived in Griswold before moving to Atlantic in 1937. Read More	In Memory of: Lucille Hanton Lucille Olive Muller was born December 26, 1912, the daughter of Otto and May Berg Muller in Melville Township of Audubon County. She started school in Audubon County before the family moved to Noble Township of Cass County in 1921 where she grew up and finished school. On December 6, 1934, she was married to Clifford Hanton at Burlington, Iowa. They lived in Griswold before moving to Atlantic in 1937. In 1953 they moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where they remained until moving back to Atlantic in 1979. She was president of the Presbyterian Ladies Aid for one year, and joined the DOES in 1942 where she served as president in 1945 and later was the treasurer of the State DOES. She also held a national office in 1953. She had belonged to the Newcomers of Omaha where she had served as General Secretary for 25 years. She had been a member of the Hospital Auxiliary in Atlantic where she had volunteered 3426 hours of service from 1980 to 1995. After Clifford’s death in 1991 she had moved to Brookridge Apartments. Surviving are one brother, Willard Muller and wife Ruth of Atlantic; three nephews, Kent Muller and his wife Jan of Griswold and their family, Gary Muller and wife Jackie of Griswold and their family, and Wendell Muller and wife Connie of Massena and their family; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother in infancy; and one sister-in-law, Gladys Muller. Obit from memorial card by: Mullen Funeral Home, Atlantic, Iowa.
