Description	:	Mrs. Henry J. (Lucinda) Eischeid, age 85, of Halbur, died on Thursday, Dec. 18, 1986, at the Carroll Health Center Nursing Home in Carroll. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, at St. Augustine Church in Halbur. The celebrant will be the Rev. Eugene Ceperley. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Halbur. Dr. Karl Eischeid will be lector for the Mass. Gift bearers will be Gail and Laura Eischeid. (Lucinda) Eischeid, age 85, of Halbur, died on Thursday, Dec. 18, 1986, at the Carroll Health Center Nursing Home in Carroll. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, at St. Augustine Church in Halbur. The celebrant will be the Rev. Eugene Ceperley. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Halbur. Dr. Karl Eischeid will be lector for the Mass. Gift bearers will be Gail and Laura Eischeid. Mass servers will be Peter Eischeid, Craig Riesenberg and Russell Riesenberg. Casket bearers will be Mark Brosnihan, Matthew Brosnihan, Paul Eischeid, Joseph Eischeid, Gregory Eischeid and James Eischeid. Friends and relatives may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 2 p.m. on Friday. Rosaries will be recited at 3 p.m. and at 8 p.m. on Friday. The latter by St. Augustine Parish and the Templeton Catholic Daughters of America. A scriptural prayer service will be held at 8:45 p.m. on Friday. Survivors include her sons and their spouses, Robert and Clare Eischeid of Omaha, Neb., John and Alice Eischeid of Carroll, Henry and Florence Eischeid of Ralston, Neb., Dr. Thomas A. Eischeid, D.D.S., of California and Dr. Raymond and Julie Eischeid, D.D.S., of Council Bluffs; daughter, Mrs. John (Jo Ann) Brosnihan of Council Bluffs; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Horold Goedert of Walnut Creek, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Ann Traner of Carroll. She was preceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry, who died in May, 1985; three sisters, Josephine Daley, Viola McGrane and Lorene Neubaum; and two brothers, Leo and Orlando Goedert. Lucinda Eischeid was born on June 30, 1901, in Alton, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Wolf Goedert. She spent her younger years in the Alton area and then moved with her parents to the Halbur community. On Nov. 26, 1923, she was married to Henry J. Eischeid at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll, by the Rev. Joseph Cordes. Following their marriage, the couple made their home in Halbur until December of 1980 when they moved to Carroll. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in November 1973. Mrs. Eischeid has been a resident of the Carroll Health Center Nursing Home since January 1984. She was a member of St. Augustine Legion Auxiliary and a former member of the Halbur Homemakers Club.
