Coleman is crushed to death by a fallen log, leaving his wife, Lucinda, with seven children to raise. • In 1897, Madana will add Sanford Lee to the household. • In 1900 Lucinda "Lu" will marry W.S. "Pete" Clendenin, Sanford's Great Uncle, a brother to Benjamin Franklin Clendenin. W.S., elected Justice of the Peace four terms 1904-1920, has a second set of children by Margaret Mullins. -- Blain - B: July 10,1884 -- Dexter, - 1900 census Dexter is living with his Aunt Jane Clendenin Bumgardner -- Howard, - 1900 census Howard is living with his half- brother Benjamin F. Clendenin -- Arley • Lu, is buried next to her first husband, Elijah, at the George S. Miller family cemetery. • I remember Blain, he always wanted to go to Sweet Spring(?) and be buried with his father in a cemetery three miles below Dog Fork, the cemetery was destroyed by a property owner in the 1960's.
