Read More	Mrs. Lucretia Martin-Kramer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Martin of this city, quietly passed to her heavenly home at 4:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 12th, at Salida, Colo. where she has resided the past two years. It had become necessary that she have an operation performed to insure life and future health. For this, she was removed from her home to the Denver & Rio Grande Hospital at Salida. The operation was performed very successfully and the patient was doing splendidly. The operation had been performed about nine days and nothing seemed to have been left undone for the speedy recovery of the loved one. At 4:30 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 12th, she was called by her Lord and Master to take up her abode in her heavenly home and in five minutes she was at rest. Not a symptom of distress seemed to give her friends or family the least warning. Heart trouble seemed to be the cause of her sudden death. She had been a kind, loving wife and mother; her devotion to her parents will never be forgotten. Also her many friends have reasons to mourn her departure. She had been a devoted Christian from early childhood and no one ever had reason to doubt her sincerity. But the good Lord, in His mercies, has deemed it wise to call this loved one home, and it is one more lesson to those who have been spared of their true obligation to their Maker and obedience to one another while on earth. Lucretia Martin was born in Wisconsin, April 18th, 1864, and came with her parents to Nebraska in 1896. She was married to Dayton J. Kramer, March 1st, 1890, and went with him to Salida, Colo., about two years ago. One son, Harry, less than five years old, is left to mourn the untimely loss of a loving mother. The child will be cared for by his grandmother, Mrs. E. L. Martin. Mr. Karamer will return to Salida about Jan. 1st.
