Description	:	LOGHRY, LUCY ANN—Lucy Ann Cutler was born in Wetlands, Vt., October 6, 1829, and died at the home of her son, L.P. Loghry, in Geneva, Neb., March 6, 1917, aged 87 years, 5 months, and 2 days. When a child, she moved with her parents to Orland, Ind., where she grew to womanhood. Read More	LOGHRY, LUCY ANN—Lucy Ann Cutler was born in Wetlands, Vt., October 6, 1829, and died at the home of her son, L.P. Loghry, in Geneva, Neb., March 6, 1917, aged 87 years, 5 months, and 2 days. When a child, she moved with her parents to Orland, Ind., where she grew to womanhood. On January 10, 1850, she was married to James Loghry. To this union were born six children, two of whom died in infancy. The four surviving children are: L.P. Loghry, Mrs. Helen Huston, and Mrs. Louisa Garrett of Geneva; and Jay Loghry of Oshkosh, Neb. In 1871 Mr. and Mrs. Loghry moved to Fillmore county, Nebraska, where she has since resided. Her husband departed from this life at their family residence, September 10, 1906, aged 78 years, 7 months, and 9 days. Mrs. Loghry joined the Presbyterian church in 1856, and when the Congregational church of Geneva was organized in 1886, she became a member of that organization. At the time of her death, she was the last surviving charter member. The relatives and friends have the sincere sympathy of the people of the vicinity in their loss. Mrs. Loghry is survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. The relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were Mrs. Nancy Wingert and Amos Loghry from Bagley, Ia.; Jamea and Bert Loghry, and Misses Florence and Jennie Loghry of Maywood, Neb.; Mrs. Netty Cory of Sutton; and Mrs. Florence Loghry of St. Louis. The funeral took place from the Congregational church in Geneva at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, and was conducted by Rev. B.A. Warren. The interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
