Crews. - R.P. & E.A.C. Smith I came across a death notice for Lucy in the Sept 20, 1889 Brown County World. The World took it from the Hamlin News Gleaner. But the death date they wrote for Lucy Crews was "Monday Sept 9, 1889," different from what you have. I found the notice while browsing thru the Sept 20 issue, while looking for Lucy Clement, # 19498934. The death date I already had for Lucy Clement is .. Sep 9, 1889. (per the cemetery list) There are other similarities between these two Lucy's. Both were born in 1847. Both died in 1889. Both are buried in the Hamlin Cemetery. Both their husbands were named David. And no one has put up gravestone photos for either Lucy. I've not been able to find anything on Lucy Clement. (ie., censuses or death notice) I wonder if there is some kind of mix-up. Could they be the same person?
