Description	:	Ludwig (Louis) Carl Kemper, son of Heinrich and Ida (nee Naber) Kemper, was born in Saline County on January 12, 1880. He was baptized on the day of his birth and after proper instruction was confirmed in the West Blue Evangelical Church on March 10, 1895 by Pastor J.P. Welsch. He worked most of his life as a farm-hand and also served as the sexton of the Blue Mound Cemetery near Milford for many years. Read More	Ludwig (Louis) Carl Kemper, son of Heinrich and Ida (nee Naber) Kemper, was born in Saline County on January 12, 1880. He was baptized on the day of his birth and after proper instruction was confirmed in the West Blue Evangelical Church on March 10, 1895 by Pastor J.P. Welsch. He worked most of his life as a farm-hand and also served as the sexton of the Blue Mound Cemetery near Milford for many years. The last days of his life were spent in the Langner Home in Seward where he passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 1948 at the age of 68 years, 1 months, and 27 days. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters who died in infancy. He is survived by six brothers: Henry, Arlington; Otto, Crete; Charles, Seward; John and Ben, Crete; and Walter, Mountain View, California; two sisters: Mrs. D.G. Fette, Dorchester; and Mrs. Elfrieda Wickenkamp of Englewood, Colorado. Last rites were conducted on Sunday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. in the West Blue Evangelical and Reformed Church, Milford with Rev.
