Description	:	BROWN, LUELLA BELLE BELLE--Luella Belle Brown, daughter of Reuben and Lucretia Atteberry Brown, was born at Colby, Kas., November 20, 1883. She passed from this life at Providence Hospital in Lincoln, Neb., December 5, 1969, at the age of 86 years and 14 days. As a small girl she moved with her parents to the Strang, Neb., neighborhood. She received her schooling in the Strang public schools. In later life she moved to Geneva and had lived her for a number of years. She was one of 12 children. Her mother passed away when Belle was about 17... Read More	BROWN, LUELLA BELLE BELLE--Luella Belle Brown, daughter of Reuben and Lucretia Atteberry Brown, was born at Colby, Kas., November 20, 1883. She passed from this life at Providence Hospital in Lincoln, Neb., December 5, 1969, at the age of 86 years and 14 days. As a small girl she moved with her parents to the Strang, Neb., neighborhood. She received her schooling in the Strang public schools. In later life she moved to Geneva and had lived her for a number of years. She was one of 12 children. Her mother passed away when Belle was about 17 years of age, and she remained at home keeping house for her father as long as he lived and helped to raise the younger children. She was a long time member of the former Evangelical United Brethren church and had been a member of the Rebekah lodge more than 50 years. She is survived by one brother, Leslie R. Brown of Stockton, Cal., as well a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Kritner-Farmer funeral home in Geneva at 2 p. m. Monday, December 8. Rev. John L. Stayton officiated. Sheldon Johnson sang “How Great Thou Art” and “Crossing the Bar.” Mrs. Johnson was accompanist. Pallbearers were George Koehler, Howard Hamilton, Leroy Landgren, Albert Lott, Wilson Miller and Tony Thulin. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal 11 December 1969
