She died January 15, 1982, at Fountain Villa Care Center at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 13 days. OBITUARY- LULU BEYER Lulu Bertha Ehrsam Beyer was born April 2, 1894, at Bern, Kansas, the daughter of William and Eliza Luenburger Ehrsam. She died January 15, 1982, at Fountain Villa Care Center at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 13 days. Lulu graduated from the Lincoln, Nebraska, School of Nursing and nursed for thirty years in the Seneca and Sabetha areas. On October 1, 1950, at Seneca she was married to George Beyer. They made their home in Sabetha until his death October 13, 1978. At that time she became a resident of the Fountain Villa Care Center. Lulu was a member of the Sabetha Congregational Church and the Sapphire Chapter #348 of the Eastern Star. She is survived by two step-sons, Jim Beyer of Tremont, Illinois, and Herb Beyer of Tennessee; four step-grandsons, James, Robert, David and Paul Beyer, all of Illinois; one sister, Susie R. Strahm, and a brother, Elmer Ehrsam, both of Sabetha; tree nieces and three nephews. Lulu was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ed. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 1982, at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Harold Goldmann of Sabetha Congregational Church officiated. interment was in the Sabetha Cemetery.
