Mrs DeVoss was removed from her country home to Elliott over rough roads and from Elliott to this city by train. Neighbors in the vicinity of the DeVoss home dragged the roads as best they could before Mrs. DeVoss was transported. Thomas She was born in Pilot Grove Township, January 18, 1882. At the time of her death she was 42 years old. Lulu Thomas was married to Warren Devoss in 1901 and to this union two children were born, who with the husband and parents survive her. Mrs. DewVoss was born and spent her entire life in the Pilot Grove vicinity. She was a member of the Methodist Church and of the Eastern Star. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Pilot Grove Center Church and burial will be in the cemetery there.
