Lusannah, or Lucy, Fuller was baptized in Kingston, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on 29 Sep 1776, and thus likely born earlier that month. She was the daughter of Consider Fuller and Lydia Bryant of Kingston, and through her father she is a descendant of Mayflower passengers Samuel Fuller, Stephen Hopkins, Francis Eaton, and John Billington. Her father died when she was a young girl, and her mother moved from Plymouth to the Shaker community in New Gloucester, Maine, with her daughters Lusannah and Christiana. Lusannah was married in Readfield, Maine on 29 Dec 1794 to Nathaniel Stanley III, the son of Nathaniel Stanley Jr. and Abigail Hall of Winthrop, Maine. After their marriage, Lusannah lived with her husband and children in Harlem and Vassalboro, Maine, but by 1802 had moved to Belfast, ME. They were still there in 1820, but by 1830 they had moved to Ellsworth, ME. Following the death of her husband in 1845, Lusannah continued to live in Ellsworth and was enumerated there in 1850 with her son Joseph. However, she died in Belfast in 1851, so was likely visiting, or temporarily living with her son Ruel there when she died.
