"Feeling the call of God to preach the Gospel she entered Cleveland Bible Institute, now Malone College, from which she graduated in 1912. "On October 2, 1913, she married Martin Brantingham, also a minister and from this time on they held joint pastorates and public ministry and was a minister, a wife, a mother, a gracious hostess and homemaker. Her daughter, four sons, twenty grandchildren and six great-grandchildren will miss her prayers, words of council, advice and encouragement. The many souls she has helped through the years rise up to call her blessed. God called her home after a long and fruitful ministry. "Funeral services were held at the Winona Friends Church conducted by her pastor, William Atchinson assisted by Chester G. Stanley and Walter Williams. At the close of the service many present spoke words of appreciation of this faithful servant of God. Burial was near Winona in the Woodsdale Cemetery. Though she has ceased from her labors she lives in the lives of her children and grandchildren, five of whom are active ministers of the Gospel. "Endorsed by Winona Monthly Meeting.
