Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Creighton. Pallbearers were Don Pahl, William Kruse, Dennis VonSeggren, Gerald Smith, Edwin Boggs and Dale Lemke. Lydia Elna Augusta (Falke) Mock passed away April 13, 1990 at the Lundberg Memorial Hospital after being hospitalized since March 10. She was born one half mile north of the Greenwood Cemetery at Creighton to Martha and Herman Falke on April 8, 1910 and passed away at the age of 80 years and four and one half... Lydia Elna Augusta (Falke) Mock passed away April 13, 1990 at the Lundberg Memorial Hospital after being hospitalized since March 10. She was born one half mile north of the Greenwood Cemetery at Creighton to Martha and Herman Falke on April 8, 1910 and passed away at the age of 80 years and four and one half days. She was baptized May 1, 1910 at the Christ Lutheran Church of Bazile Mills. She grew up in the Creighton area and attended rural schools and the Lutheran School at Bazile Mills. She was confirmed in the Christ Lutheran Church at Bazile Mills on April 13, 1924 by Rev. Herman Stegemann. On February 19, 1928 she was married to George W. Mock by Rev. Herman Stegemann. To this union five children were born, Connie Mock of Creighton, Joan Hansen of Norfolk, James, who passed away at the age of 31 years, Robert of Geneva, IL and Ella Mae Jensen of Winnetoon. In laws are Murray Jensen, Vernon Hansen and JoAnn Vaneer Woal. She is survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, a son, James; her mother and father and one sister, Emma. She spent most of her life around Creighton. The last 30 years she lived in Bazile Mills. She had worked at the Lundberg Memorial Hospital for 10 years before she retired after having hip and knee surgery. She has many more relatives and friends who will miss her.
