Description	:	Mrs. H. Falke Dies at 62; Lived Entire Life in Creighton Community Death Monday evening, July 4, ended the long sufferings of Mrs. Herman Falke, long ill of cancer. She passed away shortly after 9 o'clock. Her condition had been considered serious since December, 1936 and she was bedfast since last October. Her condition had been considered serious since December, 1936 and she was bedfast since last October. As Martha Elizabeth Marie Stroberger, she was born February 10, 1876 one mile north of Creighton on her father's homestead. She was baptized by Rev. Toenjes and confirmed in Creighton. March 8, 1898 she was married to Herman Falke. This union was blessed with two children. The family lived northeast of Creighton for a number of years, but the past several, she and her husband made their home here. At death, Mrs. Falke was 62 years, four months and 24 days old. She is survived by her husband, two daughters; Mrs. Henry Kumm of Bazile Mills and Mrs. George Mock of Creighton; a brother, Otto Stroberger of Salt Lake city, Utah and seven grandchildren. Also left to grieve her passing are the many friends she acquired during her long residence here. During her long illness, she displayed qualities of patience and fortitude such as are seldom seen. The courage with which she bore her burden will long remain an inspiring memory to those, who knew her best. Funeral services were held at Christ Lutheran Church at Bazile Mills, Wednesday morning at 9:30 with brief rites first being conducted at the home here. Officiating was the church pastor, Rev. H.
