Description	:	Lydia married Verl J.D. Bailey on June 10, 1922, in Ottumwa, Iowa. Verl died on Tuesday, November 26, 1940, of injuries received the previous Sunday evening in an auto accident 11 miles north of Ottumwa on Highway 63 in Mahaska County. Their son John was also injured and died two days later on November 28, and daughter Rosetta was injured in the accident, but she recovered. ROBINSON Mrs. Lydia I. Robinson, 38, wife of Royal C. Robinson, 538 Summitt street, died at her home at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. She was the daughter of Jeff and Clara Parks, was born in Ottumwa, August 5, 1905, and had always been a resident here. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons and three daughters, Clarence, Charles, Carl, Rosetta, Frances and Roberta Bailey, all at home, also her mother, Mrs. Clara Parks, and brother, Harry Parks, both of Ottumwa. Her first husband, Verle Bailey, died November 26, 1940. The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Johnson's chapel conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial in Shaul cemetery.
