Description	:	Obituary Mrs. Lydia Duden Mrs. Lydia Duden was born in Putnam county, Mo., Oct. 25, 1859. She lived in Missouri until 1880, when she came with her parents to Allerton to receive the benfits of the schools, her education being completedd here. At the age of eighteen she united with the Baptist church, remaining a member until the call came to come up higher. In 1887, she was united in marriage to George E. Duden. Read More	Obituary Mrs. Lydia Duden Mrs. Lydia Duden was born in Putnam county, Mo., Oct. 25, 1859. She lived in Missouri until 1880, when she came with her parents to Allerton to receive the benfits of the schools, her education being completedd here. At the age of eighteen she united with the Baptist church, remaining a member until the call came to come up higher. In 1887, she was united in marriage to George E. Duden. One son was born to them, the deceased being an invalid since that time. Very patiently has she borne her sufferings, and although she sought for strength that she might assist in rearing her son to manhood, she was resigned to the will of Him who "doeth all things well." About eigh months ago she was prostrated with a severe illness, from which she never rallied. All that kind and loving hands could do to alleviate her suffering was done. She departed this life Feb. 17, 1900, surrounded by her friends. She leaves a husband, son and an aged mother and two sisters to mourn her loss. The funeral was at the home of Mrs. Young, mother of the deceased, being conducted by Pastor S. P. Shaw of the Baptist church, assisted by Elder A. B. Cornell of Christian church, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Allerton cemetery.
