Description	:	Born November 28, 1928 to Lyle J. Steele Sr and Gertrude (Baker) Steele in Cody, Nebraka, Sonny was the youngest of three children. After graduating in Cody, Nebraska, he met and married Arlene Vera Goodwin on August 16, 1946. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1952 and served 4 years in the Korean theater on the Tanker USS Navasota. Steele Sr and Gertrude (Baker) Steele in Cody, Nebraka, Sonny was the youngest of three children. After graduating in Cody, Nebraska, he met and married Arlene Vera Goodwin on August 16, 1946. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1952 and served 4 years in the Korean theater on the Tanker USS Navasota. Returning to Valentine after an honorable discharge, his first son, Steve was born September 1956. He had been to electricians school in the Navy (Great Lakes). He returned to Chicago, to Coine Electrical School and learned to repair TVs. He did electrical work with his brother-in-law, Jack Roos, wiring houses, etc., and changing batteries on wind chargers, and cooked steaks at the golf course for 30 years. He started in the feed business in later 1956, working for Myron Kayton (Kayton Feed & Seed) selling Gooches Best Feeds, which eventually became Reagle Feed & Seed. Starting his own feed business in 1971 on East Highway 20, selling Supersweet Feeds until they sold to ADM. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Bradley Lyle; wife Arlene; sisters Norma Moler (Butte NE) and Gwendolyn Roos (Valentine). He is survived by his son, Steven R and fiancee, Rosie Burns; and grandchildren Rod, Rowena and Angela Cruz; brother-in-law Gerald (Inez) Goodwin of Merriman, Ne; sister-in-law Donna Pederson of Grand Junction Colorado.
