She passed away on March 8, 2021 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 68 years and 5 months. Lynnis was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Lutheran Church. She was a 47-year member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Byron. She attended grade school at District 64 and Byron and graduated from Byron High School with the class of 1970. After graduating she attended Kearney State College for a year. On June 9, 1973 she was united in marriage to Arlis Eitzmann at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Byron, Nebraska and to this union was born two sons, Brett and Adam. Throughout her working career, Lynnis was employed at Security National Bank in Superior; Cooperative Business Association in Hardy, Midwest Bank in Deshler, and Byron State Bank. She enjoyed gardening, canning and reading. For many years she made layettes and donated them to Church organizations. She was also active through church in the WELCA group and sewing quilts at church. Most of all she loved taking care of her grandson Eli. She was preceded in death by her parents, Egbert and Loretta; father-in-law Adolph Eitzmann; and mother-in-law Loriene Eitzmann. Survivors include her husband Arlis of Byron; sons Brett of Hastings and Adam of Deshler; grandson Eli of Deshler; her siblings, special brother Lyle (Lucille) Schardt of Byron; Ryan (Myra) Schardt of Byron; brothers-in-law Norris (Margene) Eitzmann of Superior; Gayle (Carla) Eitzmann of Superior; sisters-in-law Denice (Marlin Hupka) Hoops of Lincoln, Nebraska; and Kristi (Jay) Peterson of Fairbury; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
