Description	:	Lysle E. Wettstead, son of Frank and Augusta Wettstead, was born at Turin, Iowa, November 22, 1908. He departed this life at home at Fairmont, Neb., Sunday, May 13, 1962 at the age of 53 years. He moved with his family to Bradshaw, Neb. when he was a young boy and grew to manhood there. Besides these, he is survived by three grandchildren,... Read More	Lysle E. Wettstead, son of Frank and Augusta Wettstead, was born at Turin, Iowa, November 22, 1908. He departed this life at home at Fairmont, Neb., Sunday, May 13, 1962 at the age of 53 years. He moved with his family to Bradshaw, Neb. when he was a young boy and grew to manhood there. November 26, 1930, he was united in marriage to Vera DeBoer. To this union were born three children, Bill of Fairmont, Geraldine, Mrs. Gene Reed, of Fairmont, and Bob of the home. Besides these, he is survived by three grandchildren, Jeri Lea, Bradley J. and Lori Ann; two brothers, Wayne of Portland, Ore., Gene of Bremerton, Wash., and one sister, Mrs. Eldra Wright of Benedict; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wettstead. In 1936 Lysle and Vera moved to Fairmont, where he was in the trucking business until in 1958 when due to ill health, he was forced to retire. Through his years of illness, he was always cheerful and uncomplaining. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorial services were held from the Kritner-Farmer Funeral home in Fairmont at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, Rev. Maude V. Mann officiating. The musical selections, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Whispering Hope" were sung y Janyce Gangstad, who was accompanied by Rose Ann Gunlack. The pallbearers were Art Schaldecker, Sidney Babcock, Glen Powers, Cecil Davis, Roy Perkins and Lester Souba. Interment was in the Fairmont cemetery.
