She was born at McCool Junction, Neb., May 15, 1908, the daughter of Bert and Marie Morgan DeBoer. She grew to womanhood in the Bradshaw community. Read More	Mrs. Vera Wettsead of Fairmont, 56, passed away at the York General Hospital Friday, October 30, 1964, after a short illness. She was born at McCool Junction, Neb., May 15, 1908, the daughter of Bert and Marie Morgan DeBoer. She grew to womanhood in the Bradshaw community. November 26, 1930, she was united in marriage to Lysle Wettstead. To this union were born three children, Bill of Fairmont, Geraldine, (Mrs. Gene Reed), of Fairmont and Bob of Fairmont. Vera had been a resident of Fairmont for the past 27 years. Besides her three children, she is survived by two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and four grandchildren, all of Fairmont; her father, Bert DeBoer of Fairmont; one brother, Bill DeBoer of Aurora; two sisters, Nell Yates of Lincoln and Mrs. Percy Adams of Fairmont; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died May 13, 1962 and by her mother. Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at McCool at 10 a.m., Monday, November 2. Rev. Donald R. Imming officiating. The Rosary was recited at the Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home in Fairmont at 9 p.m., Sunday. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal November 5, 1964 page 4.
