David T. Gustafson, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Dale Morrill and Mrs. Leland Stokes, Mrs. Russell Sorensen was pianist. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cecil Carder, Carl Falter, Emil Ewald, LeRoy McKown, Ray Nejedly and Wm. Jensen. Stromquist was born Aug. 9, 1899, at West Point. She came to Creighton about 1913 and lived with her parents, the late Charles and Lydia Stromquist, on a farm near here. Later she made her home in Creighton until the death of her parents and sister. In 1944, after her mother died, Miss Stromquist moved back to West Point and made her home at the St. Joseph Old People's Home. She was preceded in death by her father in 1937; her mother in 1944; two brothers, Julius and Carl; and a sister, Mrs. Lottie Weber. Among those from out of town attending the rites were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Stromquist of Lyons, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Walton, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lorenz, Mrs. Fred Lortz and Mrs. Ted Bomar of Plainview.
