Description	:	Mabel T. Phipps was born at Hopkinton, Mass., on January 4, 1870, and died at Waterloo, Iowa, on February 5, 1938, at the age of 68 years and 1 month. She came to Iowa with her parents, when she was two years old and they located in Wright county on a farm where she lived until she married to S. E. Moseley on May 21, 1891. Phipps was born at Hopkinton, Mass., on January 4, 1870, and died at Waterloo, Iowa, on February 5, 1938, at the age of 68 years and 1 month. She came to Iowa with her parents, when she was two years old and they located in Wright county on a farm where she lived until she married to S. E. Moseley on May 21, 1891. After her marriage she lived in several Iowa towns, finally moving to Waterloo where she resided at the time of her death. Her husband passed away ten years ago. At one time, some 35 years ago, they operated a furniture store in Renwick. She is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. A. R. (Hazel) Gillons and family of Lottsburg, Va., two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. C. H. Long, Miss Ora Phipps, Wilbur and Walter Phipps, all of Renwick, and a number of other relatives and a host of friends. Mrs. Moseley united with the Renwick Methodist church in her early married life and at the time of her death was a member of the First Methodist church at Waterloo of which she was always a faithful worker. She was a frequent visitor at the home of her relatives in Renwick and had a great many friends here. The remains were brought to Renwick and the funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Methodist church with Rev. C. R. Yeager officiating. Burial will be made at Elmwood cemetery. The Renwick Times, Renwick, Iowa, February 10, 1938 ------------ Samuel and Mabel adopted a 3 month old girl, from the Foundling home in Des Moines. E. Moseley Funeral at Renwick Mrs. S. E. Moseley died at her home at Cedar Falls on Saturday and funeral services will be held at Renwick this afternoon. Mrs. Moseley had been in failing health for several months. She is well known here as she visited here with her husband many times. She is a sister-in-law of A. W. Moseley and F. C. Moseley. **** Renwick News Mrs. Sam Moseley Word was received here Saturday of the death of Mrs. Sam Moseley at Waterloo. She was 68 years old and her husband died in 1923. She leaves to mourn one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Gilligan [Gillions] in Virginia, and two sisters, Mrs. Clair Long and Miss Ora Phipps, and 2 brothers, Wilbur Phipps and Walter Phipps. Funeral arrangements have not been completed awaiting word from the daughter in the east.
