She was born May 14, 1902, in Plymouth to William and Louisa Jones. She married Dwight C. Stevens July 19, 1926, in Satana. He preceded her in death in 1983. She taught school in her early years. She had been a Florence resident since 1941. She was a member of Florence Christian Church, Rebekah Lodge and Telephone Pioneers of America. She was born May 14, 1902, in Plymouth to William and Louisa Jones. She married Dwight C. Stevens July 19, 1926, in Satana. He preceded her in death in 1983. She taught school in her early years. She had been a Florence resident since 1941. She was a member of Florence Christian Church, Rebekah Lodge and Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include: one son, Dewy Stevens of Florence; one daughter, Dona Jane Mann of Wichita; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Esther Sinclair. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Florence Christian Church with Rev. Harold Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Zeiner Funeral Home in Florence. Memorials have been established with Florence Christian Church and Florence Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
