She grew up in Furnas County and attended Country School in the same community. She grew up in Furnas County and attended Country School in the same community. She was baptized at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church north of Holbrook sand confirmed at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Cambridge. She was baptized at the Church of Christ in 1979. She was married February 20, 1936 at St. Paul Lutheran, Cambridge to Leonard Noltie. Born to this union were one son, Kenneth, and three daughters, Lila Mae, Carleen and Connie. She was married November, 1954 to William Breinig at Arapahoe. Born to this union was one daughter, Brenda. She married Carl Holder in 1967. They moved to Arapahoe in May, 1969 to help care for her mother during her last illness. That same summer, her two grandchildren, Bud and Terry Lynn, came to make their home with them. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Kenneth. Mabel was known for her generosity and willingness to help others anytime asked. She enjoyed her garden and her flowers. Mable will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she has touched. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 31, 1988, at the Christian Church in Arapahoe, NE, with Pastor Scott Jones officiating. Interment was at the Arapahoe Cemetery with Williamson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
