Description	:	Madelyn "Mandy" Peterson, 86, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, after a long battle with cancer. Mandy was born Sept. 20, 1921, in Garrison, N.D., the daughter of Rosina and John Mehlhoff. She married Oscar L. Peterson on July 5, 1941. Mandy loved camping, knitting, crocheting, entertaining and meeting new people. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar; and sisters, Freda Strecker, Bea Hummel, Rita Johnson, and Dorothy Elam. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, at Peace Lutheran Church in Billings. A private burial will be held at a later date in Helena at Fort Harrison Veterans Cemetery.
