Married 6-29-1879 at Republic, Kansas to Iverson A. Jefferson. Died 8-15-1940 Republic, Kansas. Her grave is at Ida Cemetery, Munden, Republic Co., Kansas with Iverson Jefferson 1864-1912 6. In 1876 made their home near Hubbell, Thayer Co., Nebr. Had 6 children, 26 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren. In 1897 they celebrated a golden wedding anniversary. ================================== The great-great-grandfather of John Squire Davenport, a puritan preacher at Salem, Mass. in 1689. His son born in Salem, served 7 years and 6 months in the American Revolutionary War. The next generation son Squire Davenport was born in Vermont; his father James was born in New York, and John Squire was born in Lagrange, Harden Co., Kentucky. In 1933, William Henry wrote about the history of this family. He died in 1935.
