Services were conducted at the Miller Mennonite Church, Rev. Paul Glanzer, officiating, and burial was in the G.A.R. cemetery. Casket bearers were six grandsons: Darrell Hauder, Dale Hauder, LeRoy Burke, Walter Burkey, Duane Burkey and Eugene Rediger. Mrs. Rediger died Saturday afternoon at their home in Miller. Several months ago she became ill, and while in Great Falls, Mont., with her daughters, had undergone surgery. She returned to her home here about six weeks ago. Mrs. Rediger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emanual Beckler, was born April 5, 1890, at Milford, Nebr. September 26, 1909 she was married to Christian Rediger. They came to Hand County in 1924, and established their home on a farm south of Miller. This was their home until retirement in 1947, when they moved to Miller. Mrs. Rediger had been a faithful member of the Mennonite Church since early girlhood and at the time of her death was a member of the Miller church. Survivors are eight daughters, Mrs. Alex Haeffner (Alma), Pierre; Mrs. John Duffy (Elsie), Butte, Mont.; Mrs. Nina Burkey, Lincoln, Nebr.; Mrs. W. L. Hauder (Vada), Milford, Nebr.; Mrs. Chris Onstad (Edna), Great Falls, Mont.; Mrs. Clem Sherwood (Elaine), Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Leonard Kassimeir (Florence), Fort Benton, Mont., and Mrs. Lloyd Stubsten (Doris), Carter, Mont.; four sons, Earl, Highmore; Walter, Downey, Calif.; Clifford, Miller, and Clyde Spokane; her aged mother, Mrs. Amanda Beckler, Milford, Nebr.; four sisters, Mrs. Lydia Kennel, York, Nebr.; Mrs. Carrie Smetter, Beaver Crossing, Nebr.; Mrs. Alice Schweitzer, Miller, and Mrs. Mabel Miller, Milford, Nebr., and one brother, Delmar Beckler, Chappel, Nebr. There are also 47 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Her husband and one son, Willard, preceded her in death.
