Mrs. G. L. Stocker and Charlie A. Glosser of Gettysburg, SD, J.F. Glosser and Mrs. J.L. Jones of Blakesburg, Iowa, Lewis Glosser and Mrs. Earl Proctor of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Mrs. Howard Cassill of Sheldahl, Iowa, Mrs. Emma Swaim having died tow years ago and two little boys dying in infancy, twenty-six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four sister, on brother and an aged mother: Mrs. Lena Glosser was born at Janesville, Ohio, March 5, 1860. She moved with her parents on a farm near Chicago, Ill., when three years of age. In 1888 she came with her parents to Iowa locating on a farm near Ash Grove where she grew to womanhood, uniting in marriage to John F. Glosser in the year 1878. She spent almost her entire life on a farm, devoting all her energies to the rearing of her family for her devotion to her children was ever uppermost in her thoughts. She considered those whom God entrusted to her care as worthy her best effort and gave it without reserve and today they arise to call her blessed. In 1912, she moved her church membership form the M.E. church of Ash Grove, placing it with the M.E. church here- here and there continued the life of devotion to her family thinking not of herself, but always of those who needed her service most. In her going a christian woman, a devoted mother, a never failing - friend of all who were in need has gone to her reward. Funeral services were conducted at the family residence by Rev. Morse of the M.E. church, after which the body was conveyed to the Hopewell church, where services were conducted by Rev. Wm. Overturf of Decatur, Neb., after which the body was buried in the cemetery at that place. Family Information contributed by family member: Yvette E.
