She was baptized and a member of the United Methodist Church for 48 years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the United Methodist Women for many years. She graduated from Arapahoe High School in May of 1927. On February 28, 1929 she was united in marriage to Floyd Breinig at Norton, KS. Read More	Bio Courtesy Jeri Herbert (#46918558) Mamie Pearle Breinig was born July 13, 1909 on a farm southeast of Arapahoe to Amy (Babbitt) King and John King. She was baptized and a member of the United Methodist Church for 48 years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the United Methodist Women for many years. She graduated from Arapahoe High School in May of 1927. On February 28, 1929 she was united in marriage to Floyd Breinig at Norton, KS. To this union were born three sons and two daughters, Charles, Duane, Victor, Lula Mae and Faye, all of Arapahoe. She passed away on December 17, 1995 at the Good Samaritan Center in Arapahoe. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd, and two grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Charles, Duane and Victor; two daughters, Lula Six and Faye McCoy, all of Arapahoe, a devoted sister-in-law, Maude Breinig, who resides at Elwood Care Center, two nieces, Margaret Herbert of Arapahoe and Doris Rauch of Byers, CO, and two nephews, Lyle Breinig of Arapahoe and Ray King of Brush, CO, 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. One of her greatest loves was cooking, as everyone around Arapahoe knew. She loved to read her Bible and spoke many times of her favorite commandment "Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother". One of her last fond memories was watching the trucks from her window and commenting 'They are lit up with lights like a Christmas tree'. She also loved to go on Sunday rides in the country. She spent her married life being a good wife and excellent mother. Interment was in the Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, NE. ARAPAHOE PUBLIC MIRROR, Arapahoe, Nebraska
