Justice passed away at her home on Broadway at 5.30 a.m. Friday after an illness of about a week. Death was due to pneumonia. Until she contracted pneumonia, Mrs. Justice, who was 71 years of age at her death, was enjoying fairly good health and went about her duties energetically and with her usual industriousness. However during the last week of her life, she gradually grew weaker until the end came Friday. She was the widow of the late Sidney J. Justice, well-known waterman of this city who passed on December 6, of last year. She was a woman of fine character who could boast of innumerable friends that will ever cherish her memory. She was a gentle, sweet, home-loving lady, a wonderful mother, a good neighbor, and a kind friend. Six children, Clarence Justice, John W. S. Justice, Mrs. Agnes Tyler, Mrs. Sadie Heath, all of Crisfield, Sherman P. Justice and Carl L. Justice, of Miami, Florida, survive. Twenty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services at which gathered many relatives and friends and at which the many floral tributes further displayed the esteem and respect in which she was held by all who knew her were held from her late home on Sunday last at 2.30 p. m. Rev. J. Yancey Fincher; pastor of the Baptist Temple, was in charge of the last rites. Interment was in the family plot at Asbury Cemetery.
