Description	:	Word was received here Thursday night of the death of Mrs. Perry Caldwell, which occurred at the home of a grandson, John Ripberger, near New Castle, at 7 o'clock Thursday night. Mrs. Caldwell died suddenly from a heart attack and on account of an inquest by the coroner, no arrangements have been made. Mrs. John Ripberger residing north of Tipton is a daughter of Mrs. Caldwell and she and her husband left immediately for New Castle after receiving word of the death. Mrs. Caldwell died suddenly from a heart attack and on account of an inquest by the coroner, no arrangements have been made. Mrs. John Ripberger residing north of Tipton is a daughter of Mrs. Caldwell and she and her husband left immediately for New Castle after receiving word of the death. Mrs. Ripberger remained at the home of her son, John Junior, her husband returning to Tipton. The funeral services will be held at New Castle Monday morning and the body will be brought to Tipton for burial in the St. Johns cemetery. Mrs. Marcella Caldwell, who was 77 years of age, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Tobin, early residents of Tipton county. She was a woman loved and respected by all for her many kindly traits and her devout Christian character. She was united in marriage to Perry Caldwell, a son of Squire Caldwell and for a number of years they resided in Tipton where the husband's death occurred a number of years ago. Surviving relatives are two children, Mrs. Gertrude Ripberger, wife of John Ripberger, residing near Tipton, and a son Edwin Caldwell residing in Baltimore, Md. William and Christian Tobin of this county are brothers another brother, George Tobin, resides in Ohio. The late Mrs. John W. O'Malley was a sister and the late Emanuel Tobin a brother. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
