Description	:	Thank you to Find a Grave contributor, Donna Fitch (47921688), for the following obituary: ~~Marcus Aaron Hartson was born at Watertown, Wis., Feb. 8, 1858 and died May, 7, 1911. at the age 53 years and 3 mo. ~~He came to Nebraska June 1, 1870, with an uncle and aunt as he made his home with them, having been left an orphan when he was five years old. He has lived nearly all the time in Nebraska. ~~He was married October 24, 1888, to Carrie E. Lamm of Springbank, Nebr. Eight children were born to them of which three... He has lived nearly all the time in Nebraska. ~~He was married October 24, 1888, to Carrie E. Lamm of Springbank, Nebr. Eight children were born to them of which three have preceeded him to the better world. ~~Five year age he suffered a sunstroke from which he never regained his health. ~~He was a devoted husband, a loving father and a good neighbor and leaves a record of which no man need be ashamed. ~~By his request Rev. Cherry conducted the funeral services assisted by Rev. Roe, at the Methodist church at ten o'clock and then again at Springbank at three o'clock, assisted there by Rev. Linton of the Friends church and the body was laid to rest in the Friends cemetery. ~~He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss. Source: Northern Nebraska Journal Thurs May 18, 1911
