Description	:	Margaret (Katie) Kuhlmann was born on December 25th, 1886, in Frank, Russia, the daughter of Conrod and Katherine Wagener Sell. She was baptized as an infant in her native land in the Lutheran Church. She came with her parents to America in 1893 to Chester, Nebraska. She was confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church by Rev. A. Read More	Margaret (Katie) Kuhlmann was born on December 25th, 1886, in Frank, Russia, the daughter of Conrod and Katherine Wagener Sell. She was baptized as an infant in her native land in the Lutheran Church. She came with her parents to America in 1893 to Chester, Nebraska. She was confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church by Rev. A. Soldan in 1903 and was a communicant member since then. As a young lady she served as a clerk in several business places. On October 6th, 1910, she was united in marriage to William Kuhlmann and they lived on the farm 4 1/2 miles west of Chester where she spent the 44 years of her married life. Mrs. Kuhlmann was in good health until the last few years. In October 1952, she underwent surgery and since that time had been failing. In mid-summer of this year, her illness caused her much pain and suffering which she endured patiently and with Christian courage and fortitude. Death came Monday morning, November 8th, at 11:45 A.M., at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 13 days. Katie leaves to mourn her departure her husband, William; three brothers, George and John Sell of Chester, and David Sell of Bradenton, Florida; nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. One brother and one sister preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church, Chester, with Rev. E.B. Hilst officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery.
