She departed this life on Monday, May 10, 1999 at her home in Superior, NE at the age of 53. Margaret grew up on a farm east of Superior, in Nuckolls Co. NE. As a young girl Margaret was baptized and confirmed at Centennial Lutheran Church. She attended Valley Home rural school, graduated from Superior High School in 1963 and furthered her education at Lincoln School of Commerce earning an Accounting degree in 1965. On Feb. 13, 1967 Margaret was united in marriage to James C. Pursell at Superior, NE. After her marriage to Jim, she became a member of the Catholic Church. This union was blessed with the birth of two sons. Margaret had worked for David Aden Tax Service and later for M & R. Bookkeeping. Due to health problems Margaret spent her time at home doing her cross-stitching for family and friends. Margaret had been a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Altar Society. She enjoyed cooking, baking cookies and sewing in her free time. She is preceded in death by her father Richard Meyer. Survivors include husband Jim Pursell of Superior, NE; sons: James Pursell of Hastings, NE; Richard Pursell and wife Ginger of York, NE; mother Elsie Meyer of Superior, NE; sister Marlene McGowan and husband Steve of Superior, NE; sister in law Coni Whittinghill and husband Tim of Kansas City, KS; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
