July 3, 1913 - Carroll Times - On Friday, June 27, at St. Anthony's hospital, occurred the death f Mrs. Margaret Ann Lamberty, the wife of John M. Lamberty, whose home is seven miles west of Carroll. Death came through failure to rally from the effects of serious surgical operation performed about a week before the fatal termination of her illness. The deceased, whose maiden name was Margaret Anna Siepker, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Siepker, of this city. She was born in Carroll, November 28, 1880, and her entire life was spent in this county. She was married on September 30, 1902, to John M. Lamberty, who survives her with five children. Mrs. Lamberty was a faithful and devoted member of the Catholic church at Halbur. In her death the church and the entire community as well her immediate family suffer a deep loss. The funeral was held on Monday, June 30th, at S3. Peter and Paul church in this city, conducted by an uncle of the deceased, Rev. Father Siepker, of Waunakee, Wis., and was very largely attended. Besides the officiating priest there were present from out of town the following friends and relatives: Mr. and Mrs. George Siepker, Mrs. Frank Siepker, and Mrs. Peter Rider all of Potisi, Wis; Mrs. C. Beebe and children, of Sheldon, Iowa; Clem and John Rider, cousins of the deceased, from Carnarvon, Iowa. There were many beautiful floral tributes, testifying to the high esteem in which the deceased was held by her friends and neighbors.
