Description	:	MARGARET KENNEDY Margaret Faye Simons Kennedy was born in Villisca, Iowa, February 4, 1892, eldest of the nine children of William and Amy McCarthy Simons. On May 11, 1977, she passed away quietly in her sleep at her home in Corning, Iowa. Margaret and Fred Kennedy were married July 5, 1913. They had three children, Pat, Kathlyn and Jane, who survive. Along with and their mates, Darlene Kennedy of Red Oak, Glen W. Hossman of Villisca and R. Jay Nash of Grinnell, also nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and two sisters. Read More	MARGARET KENNEDY Margaret Faye Simons Kennedy was born in Villisca, Iowa, February 4, 1892, eldest of the nine children of William and Amy McCarthy Simons. On May 11, 1977, she passed away quietly in her sleep at her home in Corning, Iowa. Margaret and Fred Kennedy were married July 5, 1913. They had three children, Pat, Kathlyn and Jane, who survive. Margaret was a blithe spirit with zest for living life to the fullest She did not have a particularly easy life, but she overcame any lack of material things with her ingenuity. We will remember her hands that were seldom idle. She had an intense interest in many areas and kept busy with numerous projects and hobbies, never happier than when she was creating something beautiful for others. Laughter and fun she shared too, they were second nature to Margaret and she brought a sparkle into our lives. Active in church work to the last. Margaret had a secure faith in the goodness of God. Her family and friends were very precious to her. She made us all feel important, for we were important to her. Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Corning, May 15, 2:30 p.m. with Rev. James W. King officiating. Interment was in the Nodaway Cemetery. Music was provided by John Riegel, soloist and Mrs. Dan Schafer, accompanist. Flower bears were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Moore and Mr. and Mrs. K. K. Kennedy. Mrs. Ivan Heston and Mrs. Harvey Jensen were in charge of the register. Ushers were Allen Heaton and Henry Heaton. Pallbearers were Charles Steiner, Glen Hossman, Olin S.
