Description	:	Mrs. Amy Issoletti Simons, a former resident of Villisca, died at 10:20 p.m. Thursday of last week at her home at 214 W. Valley Street, Red Oak. Her death followed an illness of four weeks with anemia and heart trouble. Funeral services were conducted here at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Villisca Advent Christian Church with the pastor, the Rev. G. Burial was made in the Villisca Cemetery. Amy McCarty, daughter of Henry and Peggy McCarthy, was born January 10, 1869 in Cumberland, Iowa. She died 31 May 1934 in Red Oak, Montgomery, Iowa at the age of 63. She was married April 2, 1890, in Villisca to William Anson Simons. To this union nine children were born, all of whom survive their mother. They are Mrs. Margaret Kennedy, Nodaway, Mrs. Garnet Erskine, and Harry Simons, Creston, Dan Simons, Omaha, Mrs. Mary Byerly, Nodaway, Mrs. Lorah Cederberg, Creston, Frederick Simons, California, and Jack and Robert Simons, Red Oak. Mrs. Simons was a resident of Villisca for many years, but for the last seven years she had made her home in Red Oak. She was a member of the local Advent Christian Church.
