Description	:	The community was shocked on last Sunday to learn of the death of Mrs. Andrew Berthelson, whose last severe illness extended over barely twenty-four hours, though she had been in failing health for several months past. She will be greatly missed, not only by her deeply bereaved family, but also by a very wide circle of friends, who have enjoyed her hospitality, and for whom she always had a smile and a kind word. Read More	The community was shocked on last Sunday to learn of the death of Mrs. Andrew Berthelson, whose last severe illness extended over barely twenty-four hours, though she had been in failing health for several months past. She will be greatly missed, not only by her deeply bereaved family, but also by a very wide circle of friends, who have enjoyed her hospitality, and for whom she always had a smile and a kind word. Mrs. Berthelson came to Kansas from Denmark in 1881 and was married the same year. Together with her husband she has been a member of the Lutheran church in Tescott since its organization in 1890. Two infant daughters have preceded her to the spirit world. She leaves to mourn her husband, five sons, two daughters and five grandchildren. She had attained the age of 54 years, 2 months, and 29 days. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church on Monday afternoon June 2nd., the sermon being based on Titus two, verses eleven to fourteen. Interment was made in Price cemetery. Card of Thanks We wish to express our deep appreciation to our friends and neighbors, as also to the choir and congregation of the Lutheran church for their sympathy and assistance shown us during and after the last illness and burial of our beloved wife and mother.
