On January 18, 1943 Mr. and Mrs. Carder observed their Golden Wedding anniversary. Mrs. Carder's health was failing at that time and during the past months, she had been confined to her home, her condition becoming serious the last two weeks. Read More	Mrs. Frank Carder Buried Here Thursday Friends were saddened Tuesday morning to learn of the death of Mrs. Frank W. Carder. On January 18, 1943 Mr. and Mrs. Carder observed their Golden Wedding anniversary. Mrs. Carder's health was failing at that time and during the past months, she had been confined to her home, her condition becoming serious the last two weeks. All that medical science and loving care could do was done, but she passed away October 26, 1943 at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 19 days. Margaret "Grettie" Johnson was born June 7, 1868 at Murray, Ia., where she grew to womanhood. On January 13, 1893, she was united in marriage to Frank W. Carder. They resided on a farm near Murray until the spring of 1903. At that time they came to Creighton, Nebr. and moved onto a farm northeast of town, where they made their home until September 1939, when they moved to their present home in Creighton. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Truman and Cecil and three daughters, Ruth, Mrs. Raymond Nejedly of Creighton; Georgia, Mrs. Clyde Fisher of Spencer and Margaret, Mrs. Theo J. Farner of Huntington Park, Calif. Mrs. Carder was a Gold Star mother, one son, Paul, having died in France during WWI. Other remaining immediate relatives include 3 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, 2 overseas with the armed forces; two sisters, Mrs. Alex Mills of Casper, Wyo. and Mrs. A.W. Miller of Oshkosh, Wis. and two brothers, John and Frank Johnson, both of Murray, Ia., besides numerous other relatives and friends. Mrs. Carder was a member of the Methodist Church of Creighton and the Women's Society of Christian Service and was a faithful worker and attendant of these organizations as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Queen Esther Club of that order and the Women's Auxillary of the American Legion. Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon, October 28 at the Methodist Church with Rev. Burt Tappana officiating. Pallbearers were Gordon Kellogg, Charles Harris, Stephan Hansen, Bill Horstmann, Clark Kimble and James Nielsen. Those caring for the flowers were Mrs. Robert Mitchell, Miss Myrtle Cross, Mrs. Jim Nielsen and Mrs. A.W. Rish. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery. Out of town relatives and friends, who were here to attend the funeral were Mrs. A.W. Miller, Oshkosh, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson and son, Aubrey, John Johnson and Will Kamerer, all of Murray, Ia., Mr. and Mrs. Truman Carder and Mrs. F. E. Riggs, Chapmen, Nebr., Mrs. Fred Olson, Central City, Nebr., Mrs. Guy Cruise, Mrs. Frank McComb, Mrs. Hazel Condreary and Clair Condreary, all of St. Edward, Nebr., Mrs. Ida Burdick, Norfolk, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Keves and family, Brunswick, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mahoney and Mrs. Geo. Kirk, Mrs. Geo. Seabury of Plainview, Mrs. C.C. Rye of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. John Krotter, Mrs. Hines, Mrs. J.
