Description	:	Services were held Tuesday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Creighton for Margaret L. McAbee, 74, of Alhambra, Calif., formerly of Creighton. Rev. Olin Belt officiated with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Nejedly, Everett Carder, Dale Meikle, Philip Fisher, Lowell Fisher and Roger Fisher. The daughter of Frank and Margaret Carder, she was born November 24, 1907 at Creighton and died unexpectedly Saturday at the Lundberg Memorial Hospital in Creighton. The daughter of Frank and Margaret Carder, she was born November 24, 1907 at Creighton and died unexpectedly Saturday at the Lundberg Memorial Hospital in Creighton. Mrs. McAbee had come to Creighton a week ago to recuperated from an illness. She spent her childhood at Creighton and was a 1925 graduate of Creighton High School. In November 1927, she and Jess Farner were married. The couple lived most of their married life in Huntington Park, Calif. Mr. Farner died in 1942. In April 1968 she and Theo McAbee were married and lived in the Santa Paula, Calif. area until his death in November 1973. Mrs. McAbee then returned to Alhambra where she worked for many years in the office of the Atherton Baptist Home. Mrs. McAabee was a member of the Order of Easter Star and the Alhambra Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Ruth) Nejedly of Creighton and Mrs. Clyde (Georgia) Fisher of Spencer and 13 nieces and nephews.
