Description	:	Truman L. Carder, 76, a resident of the Creighton community since childhood, died Monday, Oct. 20, at Lundberg Memorial Hospital, where he had earlier undergone major surgery. Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning at the United Methodist church of which he was a member. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Truman Lloyd Carder, son of Frank W. and Margaret Carder, was born Nov. 11, 1893. He lived in the rural Creighton area from childhood until 1947, when he and his wife moved into Creighton. Truman Lloyd Carder, son of Frank W. and Margaret Carder, was born Nov. 11, 1893. He lived in the rural Creighton area from childhood until 1947, when he and his wife moved into Creighton. In recent years, he had been a bookkeeper for Art Goedeker. He married Annabel Reese, June 3, 1918. Five children were born to them. At the time of his death, he was president of the Knox County Fair Board. He served for many years as police magistrate and was a trustee of the United Methodist Church. Surviving are sons, Everett of Grand Island, Vernon of Salt Lake City, Utah, Althea Williams and Leland of Bad Axe, Mich, and Eldean (John) Murphy of Royal Oak, Mich.; 20 grandchildren and one brother, Cecil of Creighton, three sisters, Ruth (Raymond) Nejedly of Creighton, Georgia (Clyde) Fisher of Spencer and Margaret (Theo) McAbee of Sant Paula, Calif.
