Kerr, Mr. Oliver Yager, of Riceville, Iowa, and Miss Maggie Hardy, daughter of Mr. Wm. Hardy, of Florenceville, Iowa. Kerr ******** MASON CITY GLOBE GAZETTE, TUESDAY, JANUARY 9, 1945 RICEVILLE WOMAN DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS Margaret Jane (Hardy) Yager - September 20, 1866 - January 8, 1945 Riceville - Mrs. Margaret Yager, 79, died Monday morning at the Vollbrecht Hospital. Death was due to bladder and kidney infection following a fall. Mrs. Yager took an overdose of sleeping tablets a week ago from which she never rallied. She was preceded in death by her husband O.P. Yager, and a daughter, Mary Lee Bates. Margaret Jane Hardy was born September 20, 1866 Howard Co., Iowa, the daughter of William Hardy and Mary Lee (Hunter) Hardy. She married Oliver Perry Yager, the son of Henry Yager and Mary Magdalene (Musser) Yager. She and her husband were buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Mitchell Co., Iowa
