Description	:	Margaret Joan Andreasen Washington Jones was born on March 1, 1927 on a farm near Bostwick, Nebraska to Alma and Jens Andreasen. She attended elementary school at Sandy Knob, a small one-room school near her home. She graduated from Superior High School in 1944 and than Chico State University in 1975. She married Wendell Washington March 2, 1947. To this union two children were born, Dennis Scott Washington of Ashland Nebraska and Carleen Sue Kilbuck of Paradise California. Read More	Margaret Joan Andreasen Washington Jones was born on March 1, 1927 on a farm near Bostwick, Nebraska to Alma and Jens Andreasen. She attended elementary school at Sandy Knob, a small one-room school near her home. She graduated from Superior High School in 1944 and than Chico State University in 1975. She married Wendell Washington March 2, 1947. To this union two children were born, Dennis Scott Washington of Ashland Nebraska and Carleen Sue Kilbuck of Paradise California. In 1966 they moved to California. Her husband Wendell of 29 years passed away in October 1978. On July 7,1982 she married Merle Jones. And after 26 years of marriage, Merle passed away July 15, 2008. Margaret taught school for 10 years and worked for the Singer Company for 14 years as a sales person and bookkeeper. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, and was very accomplished at both. She and Merle loved to dance, and did so at every opportunity. They were also known for their generosity, wasting nothing and sharing the bounty of their garden with many less fortunate. Anyone lucky enough to find themselves at her table was rewarded with award winning lemon pie and five course meals prepared with kindness and skill. Her parents, brother LaVern Andreasen, and several nieces and nephews preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing by three sisters. Mary and Raymond Grummert, Dorothy Chapman and Lois and Clarence Degner. Her son and daughter in law Scott and D'Ann Washington, daughter and son in law Sue and Jan Kilbuck, grandchildren Mike, Kent, Matt and Kate Washington, two Stepsons and their spouses, Harvey and Janice Jones, their children, Richard and Krisha, Dave, Lisa and Ron Beam, Jessica and John Krause. Kenneth and Etienne Jones, their children Erika and Alec, many cherished Great Grandchildren and nieces and Nephews. She will be missed by all. She passed away on March 22nd, 2011 at Paradise, California at the age of 84 years and 21 days. She attended elementary school at Sandy Knob, a small one-room school near her home. She graduated from Superior High School, Superior, Nebraska in 1944 and then Chico State University in 1975. Margaret married Wendell Washington on March 2nd, 1947. To this union two children were born. In 1966 they moved to California. After 29 years of marriage Wendell past away. She married Merle Jones on July 7th, 1982.
