White, 88, of Jefferson, Md., died Monday, October 9, 2006, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late William Lingin White Jr., who died November 7, 1983. Born on May 13, 1918, in Middletown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Gertrude Delaughter Beane. Mrs. White was formerly employed with Springfield State Hospital, retiring after 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and being a full-time mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed traveling and working on puzzles. Surviving are nine children, Charles D. White and wife Gidget of Frederick, Md., Richard E. White and wife Donna of Thurmont, Md., Robert W. White and wife Loraine of Broken Arrow, Okla., E. Marie Brennan and husband Bob of Thurmont, Md., William G. White and companion Kitty of Frederick, Md., Mary V. Harmon of New Market, Md., Sue Hillery and husband Kenneth of Jefferson, Md., Jeanette Wetzel of Frederick, Md., and Gerald L. White and wife Diane of Brunswick, Md.; 36 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Norris. Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are by Molesworth-Williams P.A. Funeral Home, Damascus, Md.
