Description	:	OBITUARY: Margaret L. Bogard was born in Samen, Ohio, March 18, 1856 and departed this life on December 16, 1929, at Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 28 days. She moved with her parents to Wyoming, IL, when a girl. She was united in marriage to Sewell S. Reed of that place. They moved to Lamar, MO, where her parents lived, later they came to weeping water, NB, in the year 1876, to his father's farm 2 1/2 miles south of town. The farm is now owned by Herman Wegener.... Read More	OBITUARY: Margaret L. Bogard was born in Samen, Ohio, March 18, 1856 and departed this life on December 16, 1929, at Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 28 days. She moved with her parents to Wyoming, IL, when a girl. She was united in marriage to Sewell S. Reed of that place. They moved to Lamar, MO, where her parents lived, later they came to weeping water, NB, in the year 1876, to his father's farm 2 1/2 miles south of town. The farm is now owned by Herman Wegener. Mrs. Reed has since made her home in Weeping Water, with the exception of the last few years. She has spent most of her time with her daughter, Mrs. Onis Wright of Omaha, where she passed away. To this union were born seven children, Mrs. John Fitzpatrick and an infant son having preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters and two sons. Mrs. L. J. Lane, Mrs. M. C. Wollen, and I. C. Reed of this place: Mrs. Onis Wright and H. R. Reed of Omaha, NB; three brothers, Charles Bogard of Fremont, NB, John Bogard of Sutherland, NB and Wm. Bogard of Avoca, NB. A sister Mrs. H. L. Peters of Minneapolis, KS, and several grandchildren, also a host of friends. The deceased lived a Christian life; for many years she was united with the Baptist church, and later joined the Mennonite Brethren in Christ church. "O Mother dear, We miss you here, We miss you there;, Some day in the sweet bye and bye, There will be a home gathering in the sky." The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the Hobson Funeral Home. Rev. George Morey preached the sermon. Mrs. Herbert Ratnour and Mrs. Otto Moritz sang, "It Is Well With My Soul", with Mrs. Roy Haslam at the piano. The body bearers were the grandsons, Ralph Lane, Arthur Fitzpatrick, James Fitzpatrick, Lemuel Lane, John Fitzpatrick and Levi Whittaker. The out of town relatives were: Ethel Whittaker of Fremont, NB, James Fitzpatrick of Union, William Bogard and son Clyde of Avoca, Mrs. J. M. Callahan of Omaha, Harry Reed of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Onis Wright of Omaha, Mrs. Rula Sluyter of Plattsmouth, John Bogard of Sutherland, and Mrs. Charles Bogard of Fremont.
