Mrs. Donaldson was born in McConnells Mills, November 30, 1878, a daughter of Thomas and Sarah Hall Cowan. She had lived at her present address for the past 68 years and had been a life-long resident of the Canonsburg area. She was married to James M. Donaldson, May 18, 1896, who survives. Mrs. Donaldson was born in McConnells Mills, November 30, 1878, a daughter of Thomas and Sarah Hall Cowan. She had lived at her present address for the past 68 years and had been a life-long resident of the Canonsburg area. She was married to James M. Donaldson, May 18, 1896, who survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Dorothy, wife of Vaugnn Gillmore of Washington; one adopted daughter, Mrs. A. E. Archer of Baytown, Tex., four grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren, and one step-sister, Mrs. Virginia Bails of Canonsburg. One daughter, Mrs. Margaret Careta is deceased. Also deceased are three sons and three daughters, who died in infancy. Funeral services for Mrs. Donaldson were held today at 1 p.m., from the W. Leonard Griffith Funeral Home in charge of the Rev.
