Mrs. Greenlee-Hoover, 75, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at her home in Emporia. She had cancer. She worked as a secretary to the director of Emporia Employment Service, secretary to the superintendent of Emporia school, secretary at Jones Charitable Trust and taught home-bound students for 11 years. The daughter of Glen D. and C. Augusta Wiggins Rose, she was born Feb. 8, 1933, at Eureka. She graduated from Eureka High School in 1951 and from Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia in 1955 with a bachelor's degree in business. She married Robert "Bob" H. Greenlee on Aug. 21, 1955, at Eureka. He died July 27, 1999. She married Ned. L. Hoover on Aug. 6, 2005, at Emporia. He survives. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a member of many organizations at KSTC, including Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. She was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Alumni Association, Research Study Club, P.E.O. Chapter DI, Emporia Retired Teachers Association and the Emporia Country Club, where she was an avid golfer. Survivors also include one daughter, Julie Shader, Overland Park; two sons, Clark Greenlee of Kansas City, Mo., and Eric Greenlee of York, Pa.; two stepsons, Mat Hoover of McKinney, Texas, and Mike Hoover Arnold, Md.; two sisters, Betty Gibb of Emporia and Martha Patterson of Georgetown, Texas; and two grandchildren. The Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral home has the arrangements.
