Description	:	Margaret "Maggie" Mosley died in her Port Hadlock home at Oak Bay. She was 81 and had cancer. Born in Port Townsend to Thomas R. and Helena M. (Anderson) Yarr, she was raised on the family farm at Dabob. She graduated from Chimacum High School in 1942, then moved to Seattle and completed studies at Metropolitan Business College in 1943. While in Seattle, she also worked for two area law firms before returning to the North Olympic Peninsula. She married Wayne N. Mosley in St. Mary Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church in Port Townsend on Dec. 28, 1946. He died Oct. 23, 2000. Mrs. Mosley was employed more than 30 years as a personnel secretary for Crown Zellerbach. Her interests included spending time with her grandchildren, picking blackberries, working crossword puzzles and playing blackjack and golf. She was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Port Townsend. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Helena and Richard Stapf and Meg and Pete Anderson, all of Port Townsend; brothers John Yarr of Quilcene, Daniel Yarr of Port Hadlock and Oscar Yarr of Coburn, Ore.; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Mary Alice Yarr of Port Hadlock; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers James and Alan Yarr and sister Grace McMillen. Services: Saturday, Sept. 16, 1 p.m., memorial in Kosec Funeral Home, 1615 Parkside Drive, Port Townsend, with the Rev. John Topel officiating. Celebration of life will follow in the Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St., Port Townsend.
